"GUARDSHIP"  Insurance – Terms & Conditions

1. Overview

ZAC Motorsport offers an optional Package Protection Insurance at checkout for an additional 5% of the total cart value. This protection provides store credit equal to the cart total at checkout in the event of a lost, stolen, or damaged package during transit. By purchasing this optional insurance, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

2. Coverage Details

This insurance covers:

  • Lost Packages: If the package is not delivered and tracking does not show a final delivery confirmation.
  • Stolen Packages: If the package is marked as "delivered" but is missing from the delivery location.
  • Damaged Packages: If the items arrive with physical damage that affects their functionality or appearance.

This insurance does not cover:

  • Delays in shipping.
  • Incorrect address provided by the customer.
  • Orders where a valid delivery confirmation is provided by the carrier, but the claim is not submitted within the required timeframe.
  • Minor packaging damage that does not affect product usability.

3. Claim Process

To file a claim, the customer must:

  1. Notify ZAC Motorsport in writing within 10 days of the package being marked as "delivered" on the tracking.
  2. Provide all required supporting documents, including but not limited to tracking details, proof of damage (if applicable), and any requested documentation for stolen packages (such as a police report in cases of suspected theft).

Failure to report a lost, stolen, or damaged package within 10 days of delivery confirmation will result in the claim being denied.

4. Resolution & Store Credit

  • Once the claim is approved, store credit will be issued for the full checkout cart total at the time of purchase.
  • The store credit cannot be exchanged for cash or refunded to the original payment method.
  • Store credit can only be used for future purchases on ZAC Motorsport’s online store.

5. Shipping Carrier Responsibility

ZAC Motorsport is not responsible for carrier errors or issues beyond our control. If the package is lost due to carrier negligence, a claim must also be made directly with the shipping provider and evidence thereof provided to ZAC Motorsport. Our Package Protection Insurance is separate from any claims the carrier may allow.

6. Refunds & Cancellations

The Package Protection Insurance fee is non-refundable once the order is placed. If the customer cancels their order before shipment, the insurance fee is not refunded.

7. Agreement to Terms

By purchasing the Package Protection Insurance, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions. It is the customer's responsibility to review these terms before purchasing the optional insurance.
